Mapusa Market

If there’s one market that spells Goa, it’s Mapusa. This colourful market is open every day but it is in full swing on Fridays. The market becomes alive with aroma of fresh spices as vendors from all over Goa flock here to sell their products. There is also a fish market that sells fresh catch as well as dried fish. During the peak season, gypsies from Rajasthan and Gujarat sell hand-made bags, chunky jewellery, shawls and other colourful items. Mapusa market is right next to the Mapusa bus stand and is well connected to all other villages and cities in Goa.
